Paper Cuts

 …but only in my workshops!  This is one Stampin’ Up set that will not leave me.  It’s been my favorite since it was first available.   Although I “heart” the solid images used in a vintage/shabby way, I thought I’d try a more modern look with the outline image.  (Is “modern” the right word? lol)

I love this color combo of Cameo Coral and Tempting Turquoise.  It’s so bright!   I first stamped the flower outline on the Cameo card with Cameo ink.  The dotted paper is from the Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Paper pack.  I matted the sentiment first onto Turquiose, then Cameo, tied the turquiose ribbon (offsetting the knot to the right a bit) and adhered the assembled piece to the card.  The flowers are stamped on Whisper White, watercolored with Cameo in the center and a very light Turquoise on the petals, then cut out.  The top flower is adhered directly onto the patterned paper.  The lower flower is raised on bits of dimensionals.
