True Friends
Here’s one I made a while ago. There’s no stamping, but I wanted to share it anyway…I really like how it turned out. I got the Dutch Girl paper here from Jacksonbelle’s store. The sentiment is from a set of rub-ons by DCWV. I like the assortment of sentiments in their “Quote Stack” tablets but a word of warning…take care in placing the rub-on onto your paper. They are very sticky and if you accidentally drop it in the wrong spot, you can’t move it. (I learned that the hard way.)
I used Confetti White for the card base, covering the front with a piece of coordinating Dutch Girl (solid color, but ”distressed-around-the-edges”patterned”) paper. The matted sentiment is raised on dimensionals and I used a Crop-a-dile (of course
) to set the eyelets. For a quick coordinating envelope, I just added a strip of the scalloped trim to the flap. Super easy/super quick set!
Thanks for stopping by!

Super sweet card. I just love that Dutch Girl paper. Love what you did with the eyelets.
This is beautiful.
That Dutch Girl paper is so pretty! I “need” to get some more! Your card is gorgeous - love the way you put all those elements together!
This is soooo darling Michele!! LOVE that paper, love the sentiment, so sweet! Love the envie too!
Beautiful, M — love the rub-on and of course this wonderful paper (I’ve yet to crack open my pack!).
WOW is this ever fabulous! I love that quote too, and I love how you brought it front and center for this design. Those two eyelets are just perfect!
This is lovely! That is a beautiful quote and the composition of your card is perfect!!!
This is so pretty, Michele! It doesn’t need any stamping–it has it all! I really like the eyelet and twine accent. I’ve done that before, but I’ve forgotten about it. It really looks so sweet on your card. Just that little something extra. I love the colors. I can almost see Groovy Guava and Soft Sky…hmmmmm…
Such a pretty and elegant card.
This is beautiful! Love the coordinating envelope!
