From All of Us
Here’s another from My Favorite Things. I never seem to have cards on-hand that are suitable for men or boys. I thought this one could be used for a birthday, retirement, any gift from a group… and suitable for a male. I tried to keep it non-occasion/non-gender specific (pretty hard for me)!
I used the gifts and stand from You Take the Cake and the sentiment is from Let’s Go for a Walk.
I used markers to color the gifts. The ribbon is actually dark brown herringbone (kind of twill-ish).
I bought a package of these metal brad “dots” at a scrapbook expo. I’d never seen them before and I really like them. They’re self-adhesive. Really neat.
I added the stitching as an afterthought. I just felt the card needed something else…too bad it’s crooked. (That’s why I don’t sew. lol.)
Thanks for looking!

It’s a wonderful card! I love how you mimicked the stripes and dots in the presents with the background papers–clever!

This is so great!! Love the clever way you combined sets and images! The colors and embellishments are perfect for a masculine card — I need to make more like this to keep in my stash! BTW, your sewing is terrific — If it’s too perfect it doesn’t look handmade!!
