Moose You So Much!
I think this set is so much fun! I made a moose card for a swap, but I can’t show you that one yet so I thought I’d make another. (My favorite stamp in the set is the little porcupine. I have a few ideas for him, but he’ll will have to wait.)
I had a bit of a hard time getting a solidly stamped image of this moose. I don’t have many craft ink pads. Maybe that would work better, but then I’m not the most patient person when it comes to waiting for ink to dry. I think for now I’ll settle for a few little uninked spots.
This card is really simple. I used Basic Grey’s new Infuse line, the paper pad. I prefer the 6″ x 6″ paper pads to the 12″ x 12″ because the prints in the pad are scaled down for the smaller size. Perfect for card making!
I blew the dust off of my hodgepodge tin to pull out an antique brass buckle. Then I dug through my bin of ribbon to find the twill. I don’t know why I haven’t used these two items for so long. I actually really like them!
Just a side-note comment, I’m happy to see that SU now has refills for the antique brass and pewter brads, but what about the aged copper? They’re my favorites! I need refills!
Thanks for stopping by!

I am so in love with that moose stamp already. But I will have to wait until next April to see if they will have it in australia, too *sniff*
Oh soooooo cute! I love this moose, too! Got my set yesterday - now just need to get it mounted. Too bad work gets in the way of playing time! LOL! Great card!
He is so cute, love the background paper.
Too darn cute. This new set just makes me smile. Love the twill!!
UGH this is BEYOND cute, M!!! love the twill and the buckle, too!
I love your card!
adorable Michele! I really like that paper
Michele,
Love your card - very cute! I have a suggestion for you about inking up your stamp. When I get new stamps that have solid images like that, I need to remove the shiny surface (that I think is caused by silicone or something in the molds). I do that by either rubbing it on my jeans or by rubbing it with an eraser. Once the shiny finish is gone it inks up MUCH better! Give that a try and see if it inks up any better!

Well, I may be in the minority here, because I do not love that moose stamp, but this is still a darling card. I love the layout.
Michelle, this is one adorable card and perfect for a guy!
how cute! I love it!
Oh, I love that moose! Hes adorable. Cant wait till I get mine! And dontchya just love that BG INFUSE! I do! I love how you put it all together.
OMGOSH how DARLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have GOT to get mine mounted so I can play! I love the added twill and the paper too!
love it, this turned out sooo cute and yet so masculine!
This is fantastic Michelle, I might have to break down and buy the moose…being Canadian and all. You should give the Choc. Chip craft ink a try, just heat set it after you stamp it for fast drying.
Oh, how adorable! I like the worn look of the somewhat uninked parts of the moose. Pretty paper, again! I didn’t notice those brads in the catalog–thanks…I need some!
this is a fun card! thanks for sharing,
maggie
