Boho Friendship

This new Boho Blosssoms set by My Favorite Things (available October 1st) is gorgeous, but it’s not a style I’m used to and it has put me totally out of my comfort zone.  After several attempts, I like this one the best.

I covered a vanilla card with the dotted paper, then adhered the floral strip to another piece of cardstock for support.  I had to raise that panel on dimensionals because of the bulk of the crocheted lace.  The flower is stamped in Chocolate Chip and adhered to the floral panel with the brad. 

The sentiment “patch” is a pattern-free strip of the floral print.  I sponged the edges, pieced the words together for the sentiment and added the extra long stitches.

    It’s out of my comfort zone, too, but you did a beautiful job with it! I love the antique feel with that sentiment.
