Pass the Pudding…a Give-Away!
Well, I got my big ol’ package of new goodies this weekend from Jacksonbelle Embellishments and I just couldn’t wait to play! Basic Grey’s new Figgy line is fantastic! My only complaint about the 6″ x 6″ paper pad (which I prefer to the 12″ x 12″ sheets)…my ONLY complaint…is that there is only one sheet of each design. But you know what that means, right? I’ll just have to buy more!
For this card, I used the new Basic Grey Winterland stamp set. I love that deer! I used Cinnamon and Platinum Stickles to make some shimmery “lights” on the antlers. The stamp set comes with little ornaments to “hang” on the antlers as well. (I have another sample using the ornaments which I’ll post later.) Oh, and the deer head is popped up too.
Cardstock: SU Chocolate Chip, Papertrey Ink white Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Figgy Stamps: Basic Grey Winterland, SU Small Script Ink: SU Chocolate Chip Accessories: Ribbon, Cinnamon and Platinum Stickles, dimensionals, mat pack/needle, SU Chocolate Chip marker, ticket corner punch. Finished card size 5 ½” x 4 ¼”.
So….as another thank you to you guys for continually checking back here, I feel like sharing. How about a Figgy 6″ x 6″ paper pad…a package of Daisy D’s rub-on zig-zag tape…new burgundy Stickles…3 yards of May Arts red/burgundy reversible satin ribbon…all from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I love all these products! Just tell me…what is your favorite occasion for card-making (or crafting in general)? I like making cards for no reason in particular, just to make someone’s day (or at least make them smile). My second favorite is Halloween!
I’ll use the random number generator to select a winner the morning of Sunday, October 28th. Good luck! And as always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh so YOU were the one that sold Lindsey out of the 6×6 Figgy Pudding!!!! LOL!! Not a problem though because I found LOTS of other things to order to take it’s place! Beautiful card!
~Lynda
Not so much a mass holiday card producer. I like to make personal birthday cards! Since I have been enjoying patterned paper, I would like to incorporate it with stamps for Christmas cards.
You do such beautiful work. What an inspiration!
Great candy offer!!! My favorite “card” holiday is definitly Chrismtas but I love making cards all year long. Thanks for sharing all your work….it definitly serves as a great inspiration. Check out my blog for some blog candy as well! {smiles}
Figgy Pudding, mmm. I LOVE making Halloween cards. I guess I like the orange with the green and purple. I’m a real sucker for Halloween paper, embellishments and stamps!
Wow!!! This is totally stunning Michele! I’m so jealous! I want my Figgy Pudding!!! Love, love, love that card!!!
Oh this is so beautiful. When we get home from our trip my package for Linds will be waiting. Love that puddin’.
I love any excuse to craft!! But I especially love making Christmas cards. And I LOVE that reindeer card…it’s just perfect!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some puddin’!
Oh WOW — that card is gorgeous!! Looks like it’s time for another order from Lindsey!
Ooh, what a nice card, Michele! I just love it! My favorite card to make? A “thinking of you” card. I love to try to give someone a lift, & a homemade card seems to be the perfect touch. Thank you for your inspiration!
Beautiful card! My favorite occasion for card making would be Christmas. My 2nd favorite is to make cards to bring a smile to someone’s face that needs it
Thanks for all of your inspiration!
I just got my first 6 X 6 (Mellow) too and didn’t realize that they were shrunken down. Thought that it would just be a quarter of the 12 X 12. Not to worry, I still love the patterns and will still be put to good use.
OOOh that paper is to die for! Love your card. I’ll need to check out those stamps, now. My favorite occasion to make a card for is Halloween or Thanksgiving - anything Fall/Autumn related. I just love working with those earthtones. Coming in a close second would be Christmas. AHH I just love making cards period!
I like making fun whimsical cards the most, but my favorite is making winter/Christmas cards.
Kandi
Michele, this is another GORGEOUS card! I love that reindeer and his sparkly ornaments! This whole stamping obsession of mine started because I thought I could make my Christmas cards and save money! HA!!!!!!! I love making Christmas cards, but also birthday cards.
Love your card made with the figgy paper. I just love basic grey paper and I guess I don’t really have to have a reason to make a card either but christmas is so much fun.
I love making cards for Christmas!
I really don’t have a favorite card making occasion. I guess if I had to pick something then I’d say birthday as I love fun, girly type stamps that I can really bling up. lol Thanks for the chance to win.
My favorite type of card to make would definately have to be birthday ones, you can go all out on creativity and personalizing is so easy! Michele thank you…your work is so inspiring, keep it up for those of us who can’t stop visiting your site.
Love the card! I love making birthday cards the most. I really like making any card but there’s something about a birthday card. It’s special and only for that person.
Hi Michele-
I LOVE your blog and all your gorgeous cards. I love making cards- my SIL and I joke that it is cheaper than therapy!!! but my favorite occasion is thinking of you cards. I like to spend extra time on those because they are unexpected and really let the person know that you care.

GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This card is beyond cool! I LOVE that stamp!!! You’ve made it look sooooo cool!!! Awesome job!!!! Fun giveaway too!! Good luck ladies!!

My favorite holiday for card making is Christmas. I love using glitter and it gives me the opportunity to go wild!!!
I love your blog candy. A couple of those things have been on my wish list for awhile, so I am crossing my fingers!
This card is GORGEOUS, and what fun and very generous goodies you’re giving away!! My favorite reason for making cards is to give them away in packages of 4, 6, or more as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, teachers, etc. Thanks so much for the chance to win these awesome goodies! Have a great day!
Fabulous card - esp with the sparkles!! My favorite reason to make a card is for Thank Yous - seem to have to make a lot of those and you aren’t limited to an image or color or anything! You can create freely and the people will appreciate it no matter what!
Wow - great CANDY. Thank for the chance to win. Love your designs. Thanks for sharing and inspiring!!!
Dorothy
What a wonderful gift! I think that my favorite time to send cards is Birthdays! I feel like I put more into them because I want them to be special for a special day. I think that it really means something when someone takes time out to remember you day.
Thanks,
Maria
How gorgeous is that card?! I had to think about which season I like creating cards and I would have to say Christmas/Winter. I adore cute lil’ snowmen and all the glitter that snowflakes need….it’s mah thang Ü
Thanks for all your wonderful creations Ü
Tracy
Your card it great - love that new paper from Basic Grey. I like to make cards, just to make cards - oh yeah, my kids don’t bother me while I am doing it - maybe that is the feel reason!!! lol…
Kyla in KY
I love the way your card turned out! just beautiful, as always!
I seem to spend most of my time making Christmas cards - either as part of my monthly goal to keep from having lots to do at once in December or like I’m doing now by making cards to send to our troops stationed in Iraq. (the goal is to get 800 finished by the first week in Nov.) but I really do enjoy making ‘just because I’m thinking of you’ cards the best. Because there’s always someone I’m thinking of who needs a little ‘happy’ in the mail!!
thank you for your beautiful inspiration!
Hi, Michele! Well, gee, I just wanted to tell you how much I love this card and how I ran right out and bought this stamp set after I saw it. It’s a bonus that you have some candy to give away, too! My very favorite card making occasion is no occasion at all. Like you, I love to make cards just “because”. It could wind up being for any occasion. Thanks, Michele!
Pick me Pick me! LOL That is a beautiful card! I like making Just thinking About You/Hello cards. Thanks for sharing the generous blog candy with us and for sharing your amazing talents with us!
Hi Michele

Wow, what a beautiful card! I love making Christmas cards and everyday cards.
I really hope I win this! An awesome giveaway! I like to make Valentine cards. Not sure if it’s the colors or the hearts and girly swirls I can use, but hey are SO much fun. I once invited friends over to make V-Day cards and I couldn’t stop designing them. They had a HUGE choice of which ones to make. Hugs~ Angel
I love to make cards for no reason. I have the most fun doing that, but it doesn’t happen often. I usually only get to make cards when I have to for a swap or prepping for a stamp camp.
This is amazing…what a unique stamp! I think I like to make cards to have a stash but there will always be a place in my heart for Christmas cards (of course by January, I am sick of them…till next year!)…
Wow, what a great give-away!!! I love Basic Grey papers and Stickles! My favorite occasion , hmmmm, not sur eif I have one, although having sucha BIG family, I guess that’s what I make the most of; I love having the ability to make cards to suit peoples tastes too; fun for kids, flowery or shabby for different women and of course masculine for men; having fun supplies really helps in this regard!
First of all, I love your site. When I realized that you were the same person who I have (who knows how many) cards saved as favorites on SCS, I was so excited. You have a special talent. Thank you for sharing. Now… on to the question. I love most to make birthday cards, because everyone is so different so every card has to be different. The only problem I have is that I’m not able to give someone a birthday card that I’ve already made. It has to be made special for them.
Love the paper and the deer on your card. I haven’t been stamping long and this is the first year to make my Christmas cards-I love it! TFS
Hi Great card!!
I like to make card for no reason too..but normally it end up being for a birthday.

BIRTHDAYS are the best time to make cards. You can remember the individual by making them a special card just for them. thanks for sharing all of your wonderful inspirations, give aways, and introductions to Basic Grey. I love the deer!
Awesome card. Great give-a-way products!!

I love making Halloween stuff! I think it’s because there is a lot of fun stuff to make. Christmas would be a close second!
Love the Figgy card and the deer antlers are fab! My favorite time to make cards is for the Holidays… Halloween (love the colors), Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. I love to make BD cards but I feel like I am always under the gun to get them made and in the mail on time (yes - I prefer to procrastinate… It’s just natural for me). Great Candy - Hope I win - I have not seen the Figgy paper in person yet…
I started my papercrafting journey by making valentine cards and I still love it.
Ahhhh! My local scrapbook store didn’t have the Figgy Pudding in yet and I was drooling for it.
I love making Thinking of You cards because they are always a surprise to the receiver. Non-occasion cards can really brighten someone’s day. After that, my next favorite would be Christmas. But really… who doesn’t love getting Christmas cards??
I just found your blog and am adding you to my favs. I love the deer, I hadn’t seen it before. I think my favorite cards to make are probably Birthday cards but Christmas is right up there too.
I like making birthday cards. I there are so many endless options to be creative. I like the freedom!
Oh! I have had my eye on this great paper! :O
I love making birthday cards. I feel like it is a time when I can really give someone a card that is personal and from my heart.
I also like making my husband little cards that I sneak into his work bag. There is really no special occasion for these… I just want him to know I love and appreciate him.
What amazing blog candy! You are so generous and we are so lucky! Love the card and all things Basic Grey! I love making cards for no reason at all - just because. Those are my faves, maybe because there’s no pressure!
Wow! That card is gorgeous! Love what you’ve done with the antlers!
I love all things Christmas for cardmaking. That’s how I got into it in the first place, so it still is a special time for me for making cards.
Michele, I love making cards period. It does not have to be a special ocassion either. I try to keep a few of all the ocassions on hand, but I just love stamping period! Any excuse to make a card is fine w/me for whatever reason…
Pinky
You have a wonderful blog. I love making cards for holidays, any holiday. It’s so much fun.
Claudia
I love making cards for birthdays. It’s just a great time to celebrate and everyone loves to get mail for their birthday.
Love your card, the selection of products you made and your blog! My favorite occasion to make cards is Birthdays and next Christmas. Here in Puerto Rico we celebrate the Three Kings in January 6 and we love everything that has their image and spanish phrases. Thanks for the opportunity
One more time… If you end up with two post from me sorry… It seems that the first one got lost when I tried…. I love to make christmas cards…
reflections:0)
I like to make thank you cards the most…there’s ALWAYS reasons to thank somebody and mine get used a lot. I LOVE that paper…I’ve been droooooooooling over it online!

Birthday and Christmas are my favorite cards to make - that BG paper is gorgeous!
NancyS (momsnack)
Thanks for the chance at your awesome blog candy! GORGEOUS card - I adore the sparkle on the antlers! My favorite occasion to make cards for has to be Christmas. I make 4 of every design I do, and I sell lots of them. For some reason, I’m just more creative when it comes to Christmas cards, and they make me SO HAPPY!
Christmas is defenitly my favorite reason for making cards! Thanks for the chance at some yummy candy!
That’s a beautiful card! My favorite cards to make are Christmas cards because I love the colors and it’s my favorite season!
Wonderful reindeer card with the Basic Grey papers! Inspiration for cardmaking comes from my stamps and papers. Whatever occasion I’m making cards for at the moment seems to be my favorite. Thanks for the chance to share your pudding.
I like making Christmas cards. I think that I just really like the colors, plus it’s my favorite holiday.
My favorite occasion for making cards is Christmas because it is the season to be merry!!!
I love your card! The figgy pudding paper is awesome! (Now bring us some figgy pudding!) I think one of my favorite card making occasions is for a baby. I love the soft colors and sweet images on baby cards!
I love making baby cards, baby invitations, etc! That’s just where I am in life right now (well, getting out of it now and into school stuff!) Thanks for sharing!
OMGosh the figgy puddy paper is to die for..lol
My favorite occasion is actually “just because” for RAKing. I love to surprise someone who is having a rough day, or just to let them know I am thinking about them.
Thanks for the opportunity. Lots of great ideas..Great questions. Chris
Hi Michele,
Making cards bring me pleasure because those who receive them are so grateful to receive a hand-crafted card. And most days, making cards make my heart sing.
I can’t wait to get some of the Figgy paper. This card is awesome. And so is your blog.
What a pretty card! Thanks for sharing. I love making my own Christmas cards — if I can squeeze out the time to make special ones!! My other favorite is really “all occasion”. I’m a sucker for flower/garden themed stamps and use them the most for birthday cards, thank-yous, just-because, sympathy - you name it. They really are so versitile.
Hi Michele, Like you, I like to make cards ‘just because’. And because of your gorgeous card I’ve got a new stamp set coming. Unfortunately, Lindsey is low on Stickles right now, and so am I, so I’ll have to come with something else to add a little bling. And though I also bought some Figgy Paper, like you said a person can always use some more beautiful paper. Thanks for an always inspiring blog.
I enjoy making cards most when I don’t have a certain occassion to make them for… there’s no rush and I can just enjoy the process. So I like making “just because” cards too!
That is absolutely adorable! My favorite type of cards to mak are just because cards- I like to make cards to have on hand for birthdays and thinking of you and they can be quick and easy!!
What a fabulous giveaway! My favorite cardmaking occasion is Christmas followed closely behind by Halloween!
I love to make birthday cards. Because there are no set color schemes and I can really use a variety of my stamps to match the personality of the recipient! thanks for sharing. I love reading your blog
Since I love to make mini-books, I guess my favourite would be “just because”. It’s wonderful to give a gift, especially a hand-created gift, for no particular reason other than “just because”.
Now I have to go and find someone who has “figgy” paper in stock!
I like making cards to make money! That money goes toward buying more stuff to support my habit! Hey - I have to be honest. I’d LOVE to win the Figgy Pudding! Thanks for the goodies!
Wow!! I just love this card!! I didn’t even know Basic Grey had stamps! (now everyone knows how much of a newbie I really am!!) LOL
Great job!!
Bev
(ps thanks for the goodies!!)
Christmas cards-hands down! Beautiful card, by the way. Way cool candy, too.
Oh my gosh! Zig Zag tape?!? I’ve never seen that before! I MUST have it! I’ll be checking the store for sure!
Love your card!
I love to make and send “thinking of you” cards
Thanks
Ang
I’m a big believer in birthdays. I like them to be done up BIG TIME. It’s the single day to celebrate that one person in particular so I always make sure I make a one -of-a kind special card that really reflects the person’s personality.
Marking cards for new babies is my favorite. So cute! Thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome new paper.
My fav occasion has to be Christmas. I love bling and snow and glimmer,
and all things Christmas. I’m making cards for not only my friends and
relatives, but for those of my family as well. Busy but blissful!
I, too, like to make extra special birthday cards. I used to send my mom a card once a month- just for kicks. I think I really miss that!
I like to make Christmas cards and birthday cards. I am making some Christmas cards right now!
I love to make cards for all occassions but especially Christmas and Birthdays. I love, love , love the Figgy paper. Another must have for the holidays. Thanks for your inspiration
My favorite cards to make are birthday cards, especially for my family. Thanks for offering such yummy blog candy.
My favorite has to be Christmas. Birthdays come ina close second. I tend to not be able to make cards, though, until I need them. I have tried making them in advance, but until I know who the card is for, I can’t do it. I like Christmas cards because it’s such a wonderful time of year. People are nicer (well, at least they are here in TN..lol) and it just feels so special.
Gorgeous card! I really like making birthday cards. Thanks for the candy offer!
My very favorite is making cards for Halloween for my grandchildren. Making cards and tags for Valentine’s Day with my friends is also a favorite. So much creativity! Love your ideas.
I LOVE Christmas cards & I also really enjoy making birthday cards. Every birthday card I make is especially for the birthday girl/guy.
I make cards for the therapy with no certain occasion in mind. When I need a card of course that is not one that I have on hand.
I love cards for any occasions. Right now I’m frantically making Christmas cards, but I love making them for any occasions. Thanks for the chance to win! Beautiful card!
wow what an awesome card! i like making things for christmas the best! one of my favorite times of the year.
thanks for a chance at awesome candy!
My favorite time to make cards is when my feelings get too big. Too much joy, too much sadness - the feelings have to get out. I start working and all those feelings turn into energy and off I go.
Thanks for the blog. It’s exciting and encouraging.
trudee sauer sent me over, and i’m glad she did! i like your style. i like surprising people who aren’t expecting a card with one just for them. people need to know they’re special.
My favorite occasion for cards is birthday or thinking of you. I love to make personalized cards for friends and family. I have a hard time mass producing cards because I always want to personalize them. Love your Basic Grey Reindeer card!
oh, lovely, this is perfect to kick-off the christmas card making, thank you for the oportunity!
Basic Grey?! Sign me up!
I like to make Birthday cards. I find it easier to create a card with someone in mind. Next would be challenge cards (like on SCS)…I guess I’m one of those people who like a few parameters…it narrows down the options to something I can make a decision on.
Love your blog!
I love to make holiday cards…Christmas and winter themed. So fun to use traditional colors with lots of bling, but also a challenge to use non-traditional colors/ideas to make something truly unique. Thanks for the chance to win; the figgy pudding paper looks wonderful!
I find I enjoy making cards just for the joy of it and often feel I enjoy doing so even more when I don’t have to rush or make for a special occasion. I belong to a 1-4-1 swap group so any cards I make usually get sent to brighten someone’s day and most times I get a return coming back.
If I make for a special occassion I am more inspired when I have plenty of time or my mojo tends to leave me. I tend to grab one stamp and make quite a few cards similar until I am all stamped out. This gives me some to share and few to spare to have on hand to grab in a hurry. I make a variety of occassion cards using that one stamp as I am limited timewise with working extra long hours these days.
Thanks for the chance to win some blog candy.
I make my cards rather randomly . . .whatever I’m in the mood for at each given time. SOmetimes I won’t put sentiments or words on them until later when I know what they are actually for. Otherwise, I absolutely LOVE making Christmas cards!
Hi, My favorite occasion for cardmaking would have to be Christmas. But through the year, I probably make more Thank you cards than anything. I don’t send enough of them out though. Any occasion is a good occasion to make a card!!!!!!!
I don’t have to have a reason to make a card. Any occasion is a great occasion. I love to just send out cards to random people.
Thanks for sharing your time and talents…that card is awesome!!! Gotta have that paper!!!
I love making cards for no reason—or to say thank you! It is one of the nicest reasons I can think of because it usually brightens someone’s day so much to be appreciated.
My favorite holiday to craft for is Christmas.
Thanks!
Sarah
Hi! I like to make cards throughtout the year for all sorts of occassions, especially Thank You cards. Thank you for the chance to win this FABULOUS blog candy! Thank you for sharing your cards with us.
I just got some Figgy Pudding today too!!! Isn’t it yummy???
What a sweet thing to do….share your goodies!! My favourite occasion to craft for??? It’s got to be Christmas!! I just love creating little gifties from nothing….KWIM?? Thanks for the chance, Michelle!!!
I love making baby cards and for a rather selfish reason: they tend not to get tossed away after the season like Christmas and birthday cards do
I love your reindeer card!! I wish the antlers were a separate stamp though. I could see that stamp on as a background too. Either way your card is beautiful!! Thanks for the chance a this awesome candy. I would have to say my favorite card to make is the everyday kind of card. No particular occasion but just to say hi, thinking of you. Those are always a really nice surprise in someone’s mailbox. Thanks for the wonderful blog and inspliration. You’re quite the artist!
Lorraine
Wow! Fabulous candy. I love making cards, like you, for no specific reason. I think it’s more fun that way.
Hi Michelle,
I probably make more birthday cards than any other kind. I don’t make Christmas cards for EVERYONE, just friends and family who “get it” or appreciate it! But I love making Halloween cards, there is something magical & whimsical about them!
Thank you for sharing. Basic Grey just keeps us wanting, don’t they?
i make the most birthday cards… but i love making “just because” cards the most.
I like making cards for all occassions, but probably make the most Christmas before settling on one to mass produce.
What a fun giveaway. Great stuff. Thanks for the chance.
hi,
I love to make cards for birthday’s! Each one is special, I never make them before hand, because I like to make them special!
Love those rub ons..hope to get some!
I enjoy making cards all year round, but probably favorites are for Christmas. Thanks for the opportunity to win some “candy”. You do beautiful work!
I love to make Christmas Cards!!
WOW! Amazing blog candy! I have never seen those runners before, how neat!
Beautiful card, thanks for sharing. My favorite for making cards is Christmas. I love that you can use liquid aplique to make fake snow, and stickles for that extra added sparkle. There are just so many fun things you can do with them!
Thanks! -Samantha
Beautiful creations!! What great blog candy, just in time for Christmas.
The card reminds me of chocolate — YUM!
I love making any type of card! Although, I never seem to have what I need when I need it.
I like to make any cards- doesn’t matter what occasion. It just depends on what kind of stamps and supplies I “LOVE” at the time I sit down to make cards.
I do like to make Christmas cards though- not a whole bunch of the same but different ones. I barely ever make the same card twice.
Thanks for some YUMMY blog candy!
Anette (snowmom13)
I love, LoVe, LOVE Christmas and making Christmas cards. I feel like I can let go and use bling, bling, bling!!! Plus I send them out to many more people than any other occasion!

Great card, as usual. What talent! Thanks for all your inspiration!
Love your card! That reindeer is awesome and the paper is so pretty.

Your crafting is great!
Thanks for sharing.
Ooooo, great give-away goodies!!
My favourite card-making occasion is birthdays. I almost always make a card for a specific individual (as opposed to mass producing generic versions), so as I’m crafting I spend the whole time thinking about that person and what they mean to me.

My favorite occasion to make cards for is Thanksgiving. I love the meaning behind the holiday and am a lover of earth tones and leaf stamps.
I love your beautiful card ! That ribbon looks so luscious! I really enjoy making birthday cards! It’s so special to make a hand crafted card for someone — everyone always loves an original card!
I LOVE this card! That stamp set is incredible. The scrolly antlers…oh, my! My favorite occasion for card making is Christmas. I LOVE Christmas stamps! However, this year I have been having a blast making Halloween cards, which I rarely ever do anything with.

How nice of you! I love making fall crafts…I think it’s the rich colors. I’ve not made many cards, but I recently told my husband that I was going to start doing so because the cards at the store are sooooo expensive.
Your card is so beautiful! I would be thrilled to be entered into your drawing - what a gem of a give away prize!
My favorite occasion for making cards has to be for baby showers. It’s such an exciting and special time for the parent’s to be - and it deserves the best card you can make.
Tiffany
I love all of your work! I love making fall cards but not mass producing them.
I like making cards for all the holidays . . . . Chinese New Year, Valentine’s, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, etc., but I guess my favorite would be Halloween wiith all the creepy spooks, goblins, witches and scary things.
I like to make cards to have on hand for Thank you’s and for a nice Thinking of You occasion.
AWESOME, FABULOUS goodies!!! My favorite occassion to make cards is for birthdays. I always need them and I remember most people’s birthdays. So they are shocked when I give them a card and they aren’t expecting it!
Thanks!
What a great giveaway! And a fabulous card! Yet another stamp set to add to my wishlist!
I enjoy making birthday cards because everyone always loves to get birthday cards. I also like to make cards of gratitude to give at Thanksgiving. It’s nice to remind people how much they are appreciated and it’s a wonderful way to count my blessings.
Thanks for the chance at the goodies!
I never never make sad cards mostly because I hate giving them to people!!!! so I would have to say my fav is b-day cards!!!! and anything with flowers!!!
Oh my - I need to get this paper now!! BG is my fav paper line!! I love to make cards for ‘just because’ and mail them out as a surprise to people. Just some fun happy mail!! Great card too - love the rich colors!!
thank you for the incredible give a way! Wow! My favorite occasion is birthdays and babies. Those are just so needed and I enjoy making those cards the best. Christmas cards are fun, but stressful for me, as the time is super busy.

WOW! WHat a great giveaway! Love, love love that paper.
I think Christmas is my favorite theme. It was the 1st BIG theme that I started to mass produce. And there are so many styles and moods to create.
Thanks for sharing
I love cards, but I haven’t gotten into handmaking them yet. I am, however, into scrapbooking, so these lovely items would be useful in this craft, as well. I would love to get into making handmade cards, so this would give me some inspiration. My favorite time to craft is Christmas!! Good luck to everyone!
Happy Tuesday!
Jennifer
Love your card. My favourite occasion is thank you events. Then Christmas then Halloween!
Hi! I really like making b-day cards. Or maybe it’s just that I have to make those, and don’t have time for anything else!
Either way, it’s fun. lol
I think my favorite occasion to make cards for is Halloween. The colors are great and there are lots of fun papers and stamps. Christmas is my favorite for other crafted items, though!

Wow! Great card and thanks for the chance to win!
I love the NO REASON other than I love you, too — but for a holiday… hmmm… birthdays are fun… but the best are the Feel Better ones… I rarely get them, but when I do, it always feels like someone went the extra step, y’know?
How gorgeous is that stickles - I’ll have to check if it is over here in Oz yet! I just love making cards. I make them constantly of all different types and it doesn’t usually matter what celebration there is I will have a card for it. Thanks for the chance. Great blog.

Christmas - hands down! You can combine the season with the holiday so winter cards can be fun also. Love snowmen and snowflakes. Thanks!
I love fall cards and Thanksgiving cards–for holidays–but probably my favorite *theme* is coffee. This year I am trying out Christmas Cards (I have been paper crafting for over 7 years and only hand made Christmas cards ONCE!)
My favorite occasion to make cards is Christmas. They are so much fun.
Tks for the chance of winning such great blog candy. Love that BG paper and what you did with it. Gotta get some of that for sure.

Wow! What a wonderful giveaway, Michelle. I love coming to your site every day to be inspired by your ideas. Like you, my favorite occasion for making cards is for no reason at all. I just like to be in my craft room whenever I can making cards and I can always find someone to share my love with. I love giving cards to people for no reason…except to make them smile.
I don’t really have an occasion that I could call my favourite…I usually end up making cards for birthdays and Christmas. I just like making cards period! Thanks for a chance to win the fabulous “candy”!

I would have to say that I love creating for holidays… not just Christmas, but Thansgiving, Halloween (fun!), Mother’s day, etc. I love cardmaking. It is my stress release and my ‘me’ time. I get so absorbed in my projects and I love it.
I like making cards for birthdays, because then I don’t feel like I have to make a lot of them at once. I can take the time to make each of them really nice.
First of all what a simply stunning card!!!! Beautiful! I like to make Christmas cards the most. Maybe because I am first a scrapbooker and branched into cardmaking first just for my Christmas cards, I have now totally converted and make cards of all sorts but Christmas remains my favorite though I do love making baby cards for my SCS friends on the Pregnancy thread! LOVE, LOVE LOVE the blog candy this time, several things I’ve had my eye on so here’s hopin!

Janet
Hands down, birthdays are my favorite card making times. You can make it so unique to the individual
CHristmas is my favorite crafting season! I work on them all year round!
Halloween and runner up is Christmas are the holidays that I get really inspirted to create!

Mother’s Day…hands down…wish I had more mothers, sigh…And I used to love to be creative with making christmas cards when the kids were little…now I am just happy if I have a photo with all of them in it :oP
hugs,
Holly
I love to make baby congrats/baby shower cards and matching gift sacks. So fun!
Wow what a lot of responses so far. I love to make cards for any reason and to make it specifically suited to the person I’m doing it for at the time. If I had to pick specific occasion it would be Christmas.
I always have these pie-in-the-sky ideas to make fabulous Christmas cards. Sometimes I actually do get some made but more often than not, I get stuck in the middle of the design, and because I put off the design process until way to late, they never get made. The reality is I make cards when I have time for whatever occassion is at hand.
I mostly make BDay cards, but lately (unfortunately) I’ve been making Sympathy cards. I made my first Halloween card the other day, and I think I might have to make some more!
My favorite occasion is Christmas - there’s something about the holiday season with all the carolling, fresh snow and fun get-togethers that make it so fun!
I love to create all year round, but I find myself doing more in the winter because things are slower around here… no gardening, no weeding, no harvesting, etc.
Awesome goodies!! I love making Christmas cards and Halloween is a close second.
I love your giveaway! So sweet! I love to make cards all year round, but really love to just send them to friends for no reason at all!
Love that deer image and the wide, sumptuous ribbon; the FP paper is perfect with it! (Okay, I just ordered a pack from JacksonBelle. I figured it would be safer than hoping to get lucky. ;-D)
I second everything Debbie just said, except I need to get over to JacksonBelle’s store for some of that FP paper before it’s gone!! Love, love, love your card!
My favorite reason is none at all too - I rarely add sentiments and just put thoughts inside. LOVE FIGGY PUDDING!!!!!

This card really is fabulous. I love all the different elements.
My favorite reason for sending a card is the “just because” cards. They are my favorite. Usually because the person is not expecting to get anything.
Love your blog.

I LOVE making Birthday cards………..male and female!
My favorite reason for making cards is thank you cards. I think it really shows appreciation. I love your blog and you are very talented

Thanks for the chance of winning a great prize! I think my favorite is making Christmas cards. I have a few friends that I don’t see very often and it’s really a nice way to stay in touch. I have one friend who used to be the organist at my old church. She saves all of the cards I’ve sent her over the years and that just makes me feel really good!
Thanks again!
Heather L.
I like to send cards to surprise people, getting something handmade in the mail is like receiving a gift to me, so I hope it is to them. You never know when you will brighten someones day, and touch their heart by your thoughts and handmade mail. Usually just because I am thinking of them, for no reason, or I heard something is up, when they least expect it, and to show my appreciation for the smallest of gestures. Thank you for the chance of such sw
