My Favorite Things has three new releases November 1st, one of which is this set, By the Seashore.
I colored this image using Copic markers. I’m still practicing my background shading so pretend it’s a nice, clear day. 🙂 The hat is cut out and popped up for some added dimension and I used a deckle blade in my Fiskars Rotary cutter to get that ripped edge look. I love being able to switch those blades for different edges. And I haven’t cut myself again so that’s a plus! 🙂

This one is super simple. The “hat stand” is actually the fancy little arrow thingy from the Boho Blossoms set. As above, the hat is cut out and popped up. I cut out the little flower too. It’s raised on a balled glue dot. The color combo was taken directly from the ribbon.
