Where’s the Staple?
Today’s WT Challenge at SCS is to use staples. In trying to decide what to do, I dug through all my stamps looking for inspiration when, in the end, it was right in front of me. I had already stamped this cat image from Cat n’ Dog by My Favorite Things. I looked at the little fish stamp that came with the set and I thought I could use a staple for it’s backbone. To do this, I put together all the layers for the sentiment, then I put the staple where I wanted to the fish. I used a black marker on the stamp, omitting the backbone, then stamped over the staple. I had to rock the stamp a bit. I think it worked well enough. I touched up just a bit with the black marker after stamping.
Once the fish was in place, I stamped the sentiment and put together the rest of the card.
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!

Aren’t you clever! Excellent piece of artwork!
I rarely use staples because I don’t care for the look, but this is a very clever use of them. Cute card!
You’re brilliant!!!! If you hadn’t told us where the staple was, I’d still be looking for it! Adorable card!
