Happy Day

I got my new Spring Elzybells!!  And oh my gosh, I *love* them!!!  I only ordered three…now I wish I’d gotten more.  I’ve been doing a bit of playing, and yes, I’m still using that Imaginisce “For Peep’s Sake” paper.  (I hope you don’t get sick of it because you’ll be seeing even more.)

This is a very simple 4 1/4″ square card.  I used reinkers to color the image then outlined with a Cool Gray Copic.  (I’ve decided I need to get a few of the lightest color shades so I can have background color.  White is getting kind of boring.)

To add a little interest to the card, I covered the flower center, ladybug and egg with a clear gel pen.  When I filled in the egg, I did not go over the crack so it really does look like it has a crack in it.

The ribbon was colored with a Copic.  (Custom ribbon every time! 🙂 )

Speaking of ribbon (and lots of other fun stuff)….Lindsey has opened her NEW STORE!  It’s so much nicer, so much easier!  And even better, if you use the code Opening02, you can get 15% off your order through the end of March!! WOOHOO!  She’ll be adding lots of fun new stuff soon, so be sure to check back!

(ETA:  New code –Opening02– will work with no minimum purchase.  Lindsey’s still working out the kinks.  Thanks!)

Thanks so much for stopping by.  We may have a sick little girl here and we had planned a birthday party for her tonight.  Hmmmm….not sure how today will go.  I hope you all have a great weekend!

(I got the directions for a “signature” …or in my case “initial”… from Broni who got it from Katie‘s post here.  Very cool! Thanks, you guys!)
