Hey Chick!

Monday, monday, nah nah, nah nah nah….  I have that song stuck in my head.  (Sorry…now you probably do, too.)  Just be glad you can’t hear me singing it. :)

Hey Chick!

HCMFTToday, I used the My Favorite Things Monday sketch and the new MFT set, Eggstra Special Easter. 

I have a *lot* of fairly old patterned paper so I decided this week I’m going to use it (or at least some of it).  The saffron-ish solid on the back of the print made it easy to choose a coordinating color.  I paper-pieced the tulips as well as the leaves.  I just colored over the leaves with a very light gray marker to give them a bit of a darker tint without too green.  The grass I just scribbled in with a marker and the bigger chick is raised on pop dots.

    Oh, I think almost all my paper is old–I can’t keep up with it. Do you ever use a whole sheet of anything? I love your layout and the big ribbon slide and row of eyelets. Cute flowers and chickies, too!
