Happy “Bird”-day to you!

Published by Michele Boyer at 8:20 am under My Designs

I had a nice little green card set aside to share today and now I can’t find it.  I’ve looked and looked.  My daughter thinks a little leprechaun must have come in the house and snatched it. :)   I hope that isn’t the case and so, instead, I’ll share this birthday card….or “bird”-day card.

HBDTY

I found this cute bird stamp at Addicted to Rubber Stamps (which can be an absolutely deadly place to shop…I popped in there looking for two specific stamps and checked out with six.)

I used Copic markers to color the image.  (It’s one big stamp.)  The paper is by American Crafts.  They have great patterns for generic birthdays!  I used a black marker to draw in a little floor line on the left and right so the birds wouldn’t look like they were just floating in air.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (white)   Patterned Paper:  American Crafts The Goods “Parade” and “Pinwheel”   Stamps:  Denami Design “Happy Bird Day”   Ink:  Brilliance Graphite Black   Accessories:  Copic markers, black SU marker, American Crafts red eyelet, SU red grosgrain.  Card size 5 ½” x 4 ¼”.

The card you shard in lieu of the MIA card is fantastic! I have to stray from that web site! I have way to much fun there too! Ebay is my stamp addiction place, among many others! LOL! Deb

I love your coloring of the birds! They’re all so cute! Funny you should mention Addicted to Rubber Stamps… I went there last night just looking for something to make me gasp–found several stamps that reminded me of stamps I already have and never use anymore. Still, I think I might go back…

This is adorable!! I love how you used these bright colors. I am not so good at using these colors (it looks like something my dd would have done when I do). This looks so bright, fun and warm!!
