Easter Greetings
Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you have enjoyed your spring break (if you were lucky enough to have one).
Easter Greetings
Yep, still I love these little spring Elzybells! (My favorite of these three chicks is the one on the left.
)
I used sparkly Imaginisce “For Peep’s Sake” paper and then added Stardust Stickles to the eggs after watercoloring with SU reinkers.
I only have two of the clear-ish Stickles, Diamond and Stardust. I just never paid attention before, but the Diamond Stickles has a golden kind of sparkly undertone while the Stardust has more of a silvery undertone. I noticed when making my daughter’s birthday card that the Stickles I used (Diamond) didn’t match the glitter that was on the patterned paper. (But I was NOT going to start that card over for the fifth time because of the glitter!) Before, I just thought it didn’t really matter…I’d use Diamond Stickles on everything. But now that I’ve noticed the difference, ugh, it does matter. (Just my own little light bulb moment.
)
Here’s a close-up of the little chicks. I think they are adorable, especially that little chick bottom!!

Happy Easter Michele! I hope you and your family have a wonderful day!
That card is so cute!!! Ok, I’m usually behind on things but wanted to congratulate you for all the wonderful cards in the Spring Paper Creations mag. My husband gave me a few Easter goodies and this was one of them. As I’m cruising through this morning drinking my coffee I saw them all! Wow!
Awwwwww, this is adorable! These chicks are darling! I do love the little chick bottom but the one that’s sort of hugging its egg is pretty darn cute, too. Love all these fresh and pretty papers you’re using! Makes me wish I didn’t have so many older papers piled up, but if I started buying new papers they’d just get piled up, too.
so cute & springy! love it!
aaaaaaaack this is WAY cute, M! I love your coloring!! Yep, that’s why I have several different “clear” Stickles. I almost always use the star dust. the “crystal” one has a lot of green in it. I only use that for like grass, etc.
Too daggone cute!! Those chicks are adorable, and I love the colors and sparkle! Hope your Easter was a good one!
