The Need to Scream
I don’t feel the need to scream…at least not right now, but it’s still early. :) Of all the sentiments I own, this is one of my favorites.
It’s Been Lovely
I think this bird by Inkadinkado (appropriately named “Squawk”) looks like it has had a bit of a rough day, don’t you? Look at those eyes. I’d say she’s done. LOL. (I often feel like *I* look like that!)
I paired this little chicky with some Basic Grey Sugared patterned paper. I colored her with Copic markers and used one of those Stampin’ Up mini library clips I just had to have and never use. And look at that! I got ALL the stitches on the paper edges this time! lol. (I almost missed it in one spot, but I’m getting better!)
Speaking of things I never use, since I’ve been moving my things into my own space, I have discovered that I have an insane amount of stuff that I will never, in my lifetime, have the opportunity to use. So I see a blog give-away coming up pretty soon. I *have* to get rid of some of this stuff!
Well, it’s been lovely (lol). I hope you all have a great weekend!!
ETA: The sentiment is by Inkadinkado as well. I think it is “technically” retired but possibly still available in some stores.

This is so dang cute and I love the layout…. I see where you’re coming from re: somedays!! especially when stamping is not an option….! Yikes!
This is so cute and so hilarious! Haven’t we all had days like that!?
OMGOSH! This is so cute!! I love that bird! Just darling! Great card M!
Haha, I totally know the feeling! What a great card! I love those colours! Speaking of so much stuff that I will never use, now I HAVE to HAVE that paper! Gee thanks!
Diane
Oh, just too cute! Love that paper. I almost bought some the other day, but decided to get a few more Copics instead.
What a hoot! That is one cute bird and sentiment! Love the paper and colors you used too!
OMG This is hilarious!!! I love every little detail!
This is sooooo stinkin’ fun…I chuckled out loud
LOVE your stitching..
Too cute! And with five kids, I totally relate. lol Love it!!
“Love, Love, Love” this card Michelle–you definitely put a smile on my face!!! I found “Squawk” over at the Inkadinkado site–along with a “zillion” other “must have” stamps–but I haven’t come across the “It’s been Lovely…” stamp–where did you find that one–inquiring minds want to know??? KJ
PS Your stitching is “bee-u-t-ful”!!!
Way too cute.
SUPER CUTE! Love it!
Heehee — too cute!! I love that sentiment!!
Even though I’m officially mad at you for the rest of your life, I think this is really cute.
Oh this is super cute! Love the eyes…haha!
congrats on joining the CHF Designing Team! I just read the email this morning!!! Wow!
That is just too funny and too cute! Makes me think of house guests. You adore having them but sometimes you just need them to go away so you can scream. Just a little. Or at least I felt that way when I had my friend and her sister stay with me for a week. After a week of less sleep than I was used to and much more craziness I needed a little scream. hehe. And cute for all sorts of other things! TFS!
This is soo funny and ohhh sooo true I think we all have days when we look and feel like this!!! Great card and I love the papers. By the way I am convinced crafting things breed!!! I surely don’t buy all this stuff!!! Sue :o)
That is adorable!! I found a great sentiment this weekend but it’s not a funny one. Great sentiments are sometimes hard to find!
Boy, do I ever feel like that sometimes! A bit too often these days… I do love this bird. She’s an adorable character! Great job on the stitching. Gorgeous papers, too.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! this is AWESOME, M!! LOL!
I love that goofy little bird! What a great card! That sentiment is fitting sometimes!
So glad that I am not the only person who has more supplies than I will ever use. I feel guilty sometimes, but then I buy more to make myself feel better! Oh well.
LOL! I think I could stamp that saying on my forhead some days.
What a great card!
I love this card - it’s humourous and the bird image is fab as is the sentiment, the papers are an excellent choice - all the colours gel together so well
Oh my!! This is hysterical!!!!!
I love this bird (and the way you colored her) with this sentiment!!!
