Arrrrrrgh!

Published by Shel9999 at 6:10 am under Lizzie Anne Designs, My Designs

Welcome the weekend, right?  I have a lot going on today, but tomorrow…sweet nothing.  I love days like that.

Ahoy Matey!

AMSR1

I came across this paper a while back, probably thinking I’d use it to scrap a page from when my son was into pirates.  But that never happened.  I haven’t had the best success with scrapbooking although I have every intention of trying again…someday.  But as a card/paper crafting designer, I never know what’s ahead as far as stamps or pub calls, so I do tend to pick up odd sheets here and there, not really knowing if I’ll ever use it.  But look what I have…a Lizzie Anne pirate!!   And I had that one sheet of perfect paper!  I love when that happens! :)

I used Copic markers to color my little pirate and although it doesn’t show well in the photo, I outlined him in gray.  The anchor charm is tied onto the card using black hemp that I’ve had forEVER.   Why I ever bought a pack of colored hemp is beyond me.  The only hemp I’ve ever used is natural.  It’s funny, the things you find when moving from one spot to another.  I had so much “stuff” crammed into one small space.  It’s so nice to have a spot for everything now…well, almost everything.  My room isn’t quite finished but it’s close!  (I’m still waiting for my project table….arrrrrgh!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a great weekend!!

Adorable! What little boy wouldn’t be thrilled to receive this. The little charm is the perfect touch. Love that you allowed the sabre to extend beyond the image framework.
