A Monday Color Challenge

Published by Michele Boyer at 6:38 am under Cornish Heritage Farms, My Designs

It’s Monday again…already.  That weekend certainly flew by.  Today’s challenge at Cornish Heritage Farms is a color challenge to use Prism Tawny Light, Iced Teal and Classic Red.  (Challenge link here.)

Asta la Vista

ATLVT

I chose to use another new release from the Kim Hughes Collection, Paradise Found.  (It’s available Thursday, June 5th, along with Baby Love.)

I hope Kim doesn’t mind, but I outlined the boat and added the little water line with a black marker.

The red background piece is actually stamped with the same Dots & Circles backgrounder used on the tan piece but it has decided to go incognito for this photo.

Cardstock:  Prism Tawny Light, Classic Red, Iced Teal   Stamps:  CHF “Paradise Found” (Kim Hughes Collection), “Dots & Circles” Backgrounder   Ink:  Adirondack Pitch Black, Red Pepper, Aqua   Accessories:  Copic markers, Making Memories brads, sewing machine, pop dots. Card size 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

Be sure to check out the other CHF designers listed below to see their challenge cards or projects.  I always look forward to seeing what everyone else has come up with.

Your little sailboat is beautiful, Michele! I love the way you added the outline and the swirly water line. Gosh, the backgrounder looks like designer paper. Very cool!

Clair’s right, though - “asta” should be “hasta”…

Really pretty card, I noticed that too, “asta” should be “hasta”… as my daughter says, don’t worry mommy, accidents happen, LOL.
