Goo Goo for U

Today’s challenge is to use limited supplies including button(s), bow(s), cardstock, stamps (from any Kim Hughes set) with a color scheme of orange, lime green, chocolate and cream. I used Kim’s new Baby Love set…available TODAY!
(I told you I can’t stop using it!)
Before you look too closely at my card, I will tell you I did not totally stick by the rules. (I know…rebel!) I threw in an extra supply so technically this is not a challenge sample. I used a scalloped square punch without thinking about it.
My defense: I was a bit stressed yesterday. First of all, I have been searching for my mojo. I don’t know where it went, but it’s not with me. I can’t tell you how much time (and paper) I’ve wasted trying this, trying that and having nothing work. Secondly, I’m in the middle of trying to schedule my son’s surgery and working out all of those related details, and thirdly we had tornadoes here. Very scary. Our power was out for about three hours so once the storm had passed, I tried to finish this card in my limited light. In my post-frazzled state, I just grabbed the punch and finished the card. I actually think it looks cuter with the scalloped square than without so I don’t want to change it. Plus the scallops mimic the the trim on the buggy.
Typically, I’m not a “button” person, but I added a tiny button (colored with a Copic) to each wheel of the buggy. I’m not really a “bow” person either but I really like how Kendra uses her wide ribbon so I was inspired by her to give it a whirl. My bow is nowhere near as perfect as hers but hopefully it doesn’t look too bad.
The dotted background was made using one of those awesome new Scrapblocks, Pin Dot.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If I can get tomorrow’s challenge card to look half-way descent, I’ll be back with that. It’s a sketch challenge and I promise to stick to the rules this time. Have a great day!

This card is great and I agree with you the scallops are perfect for the scalloped edged baby carriage - love it - very cute, and the colors are great also. I’m sorry I won’t be able to play as I have only one CHF stamp - I think - maybe I should look around a little more - ha!
Adorable card, Michelle! Sorry about your mojo. I just wish I could stamp like this when I do have my mojo!! Your bow is great and I just love the lime green pin dots! The scalloped square is great too! I hope the tornadoes avoid you from now on and your son’s surgery is a successful, not-too-stressful event.
I wish I had just a fraction of your mojo, even on your mojo-less days!! Your card is great — the scalloped square is just perfect, and your bow would rival any of Kendra’s!
I’m glad you’re safe after the storms (we had some nasty ones around here, too), and I hope the surgery is scheduled without any problems! Big hugs to you, Michele!
I’ve gotta have this baby set!! Love it! And it looks like your mojo is right where it belongs!!
I can’t see your MOJO anywhere but right here on this card!! It’s fabulous! Hope all goes well with scheduling the surgery. Stay safe….tornados are scary!
I’m sooooooo glad you were ok in that tornado M!

Darling card, M!
Awesome card…It looks just like a present. =)
LOVE this. That ribbon and bow are fabulous.
What a cute sentiment for a baby card! Different sort of colors, too. I like it! Are you sure your mojo was missing when you made this? It doesn’t look like it to me. Pretty darn good bow, too, Michele!
This is adorable, Michele!! No evidence of struggling with your mojo at all!!
I hope everything works out! Hugs!!
So cute!!
