Crazy and Mooseunderstood

Published by Michele Boyer at 6:00 am under Cornish Heritage Farms, My Designs

Tuesday brings two new releases from The Rummage Bin line at Cornish Heritage Farms, All Things Fall and Round and Round We Go.

I Mooseunderstood You

IMUSY

All Things Fall has so many great images…an apple, pumpkins, a scarecrow, this very cool moose (and more).  There are wonderful sentiments perfect for fall, some for Thanksgiving and some kind of silly ones.  I pieced this sentiment together using three of the set’s sentiments.

All of the paper you see here is the backside of two papers from My Mind’s Eye Wild Asparagus.  The background is stamped with CHF’s Burlap backgrounder. (The textile-type backgrounders are my favorites!)

Cardstock:  Prism Natural Smooth   Patterned Paper:  My Mind’s Eye Wild Asparagus “Father” Brown and Lt. Green   Stamps:  Cornish Heritage Farms “All Things Fall” from The Rummage Bin and “Burlap” Backgrounder   Ink:  Stewart Superior Palette Burnt Umber Hybrid, Ranger Walnut Stain Distress, Ranger Adirondack Espresso   Accessories:  Edge Distresser, linen thread, brads (Making Memories), sponge.  Card size 5 ½” x 4 ¼”.
Going Crazy

GCWC

Round and Round We Go has several fun circle images and phrases.  Here, I carefully inked the inner circles with a corner of my red stamp pad.  Then I inked the center circle, being less careful about getting ink on the outer circle since I was using a much darker color there.  This would have been significantly easier if I’d had markers.  (Note to self:  Get some SOON.)

For the sentiment, I first inked the red area then the blue.  In between, I used a baby wipe over the point of my scissors to remove any red from the blue area.  (It was a bit tricky.)

I’m not too thrilled with the ribbon placement, but I couldn’t think of anything else to put in that spot.

Cardstock:  Prism Natural Smooth   Patterned Paper:  Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo paper pad   Stamps:  Cornish Heritage Farms “Round and Round We Go” from The Rummage Bin  Ink:  Ranger Adirondack Red Pepper, Stream and Latte   Accessories:  Eyelet (We R Memory Keepers), Universal Eyelet Setter, Ribbon.  Card size 5” x 5”.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great Monday!

What fun cards! I just LOVE the look of that moose. I can just see him strolling casually wherever the H— he wants to go!!! Kim’s new circle set is great! And I really, really love how you’ve used it. The circles paired with the stripes - love it! Is that not the most perfect sentiment? I’m going to have to get the set if only for that one sentiment!!

I love the Moose card so much that it inspired my own masculine card. Check it out…
