Happy Monday! There’s a lot going on at the farm so let me fill you in. This week’s product spotlight is on Ranger’s Adirondack inks. (That means they’re on sale along with the reinkers, color washes, alcohol inks and metallic mixatives…I’m not sure what that is, but it’s on sale too.) So our challenge today is to use the ink. Not a problem for me as that’s what I usually use anyway. I made two cards for this challenge but I’ll show you the other one tomorrow. (It couldn’t be any more different from this one.)
Happy Harvest
Here I used the All Things Fall set. I used a waterbrush to color the pumpkins and sky, then sponged, distressed and ran the black ink pad around the edges. I know…it’s kind of dark and creepy. Maybe “Happy Haunting” would have been a more appropriate sentiment. I used the Ribbons set to stamp the ribbons, adding a little gray shadow on one side of each for a bit of a 3-d effect.
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms “All Things Fall” (The Rummage Bin), “Ribbons” and “Burlap Backgrounder” Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, Butterscotch, Terra Cotta, Sunset Orange, Meadow, Latte and Espresso by Ranger Cardstock: Prism Black, Sunflowers Dark and Natural Smooth Accessories: Waterbrush, piercing template/needle, black marker, edge distresser, Gray Copic marker. Card size 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.
