It’s a Birthday Bash!

Published by Shel9999 at 11:53 am under Cornish Heritage Farms, My Designs

Hi everyone!  Here’s a sample using Birthday Bash, a new release from the Kim Hughes Collection at Cornish Heritage Farms.  (Sorry, I had to delete the one from yesterday.  I posted a bit prematurely.)

Happy Birthday

HB BB G

All paper (except the white cardstock base) is from Basic Grey’s Cupcake paper pad.  The cupcake icing and red balloon are raised on pop dots and I used a gray Copic to add a bit of shading.  It looks like the orange gift and bag are raised but they aren’t.  (If you don’t have a gray Copic, you need one!)   :)

Just a reminder to Thomas Kinkade fans, tomorrow brings the release of The Night Before Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Stamps:  Cornish Heritage Farms Birthday Bash (Kim Hughes Collection)   Ink: Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black; Adirondack Red Pepper by Ranger    Cardstock:  Prism White (base)    Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Cupcake paper pad    Accessories:  Large Eyelet (We R Memory Keepers), white string, pop dots, Crop-a-dile, Copic markers, white gel pen (to color hearts on balloons).  Card size 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

What a fun and lively card! I love it. The shading with the copic gray really does give some wonderful ‘dimension’.

Love the peeks of the new Kim Hughes!! Of course I LOVE all your paper piecing!! I’m craving me a cupcake….hmmmm.

I’ve just got to wholeheartedly agree with you about the Stephenie Meyer series….LOVE them!! I’ve read them all in record time and now I am listening to them on my ipod while I stamp. Addicted much?? I do that with my fave books though….ever hear of Harry Potter??! Uh, yeah….I think I have an obssessive personality….books, stamps….paper, ribbon…etc. You will love book three (if you haven’t finished it yet….it was probably my favourite). Can’t wait to hear what you think!!!

    Miss ya babe!!
