Stitched Silhouettes

It’s Thursday…again.  🙂  Today’s WT challenge at Splitcoast is to use silhouettes.  I didn’t do anything new… I pulled out my favorite flowers and stamped away.  And I stitched…again.  (I think all my cards are beginning to look the same, yes?)

Friendships Multiply and Divide

FSM

I used mostly Ranger Distress inks for all the stamping, first inking the blue (which is actually Weathered Wood), a brown marker over the stems, Frayed Burlap for the leaves and Black Soot for the sentiment.

Here is a direct link to the challenge if you’d like to play.

I never really thought about friendship in a ‘mathematical’ kind of way, but this sentiment makes perfect sense.  When we have something wonderful to share, it’s so nice to have friends multiply our excitement.  And when there is sadness, the grief truly is divided.

Many of you have emailed, asking about my son.  He is great!  He had his one year post-surgery check yesterday with the neurosurgeon and that went very well.  On Monday we will see the pediatric ophthalmologist for a three week post-surgery check but I expect everything to be fine there as well.  Joe’s eyes are still a bit red in the inside corners but they are absolutely straight.  SO nice to see.   And such a relief.  🙂  Thank you all again for your thoughts and concerns.  Thank you for allowing me to multiply my joy!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great Thursday!
