Big Card, Bitty Bloom
Happy Saturday! I haven’t been feeling very witty lately so I have no “Just Sayin” post this week. Hopefully by next weekend I’ll have my brain more focused. Right now it’s kind of scattered.
Bitty Poppy
I recently went on a shopping spree and among my goodies were several new images from Stamping Bella. I love these new little BittyBlooms! This is Poppy.
I paper-pieced Poppy’s dress and the flowers, popping up the bottom of the skirt and the big flower in Poppy’s hand. The smaller flower on her hat is not raised but I bent up the petal’s edges for a bit more interest.
I used my scalloped Nestabilities to cut the scalloped frame, then used the straight-edged dies to cut the popped up frame.

I first used the bigger die to cut the pink square. Then, leaving the pink paper in the die, I centered the next smaller square over the paper, using temporary/removable tape to hold the pieces together. I flipped over the pieces, ran them through my Cuttlebug, removed the tape, and I had a perfectly cut frame! (I’m sure I’m not the first to discover this, but I was just excited to not use my craft blade or a punch.)
Next I adhered thin strips of foam tape to the sides of the frame and attached the frame over the image.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
