Snowy Friends

It is such a pleasure to design with stamps illustrated by a friend!   My stamping buddy, Diane Zechman, illustrated this Snow Friends set by C.C. Designs.  The snowman images are just adorable and I love how the snowflakes have the tiniest hearts on the ends!  Can you see them?

I paper-pieced the snow”gal’s” coat, hat and scarf and used just a bit of marker on other parts.  The decorative edge was created with a Martha SFBFCUStewart snowflake punch.  I didn’t get the result I was hoping for (not really sure what that was-lol) so I glued some little flower charms along the edge.  You can’t tell in the picture, but I also added Angel Wings Shimmerz to the snowgal and ground.

    Cute!! That paper is so pretty on the snowman, makes a perfect coat, hat and scarf! Love the hardware on the side and I probably wouldn’t have noticed the hearts if you hadn’t mentioned it, I love how she did that!
