This week’s product focus at My Favorite Things is Shimmerz. I only have a few colors, but I will say they are fun! It’s an easy way to add a bit of sparkle to your images. Using a small paintbrush, you just paint the Shimmerz onto the areas you want to sparkle! You can check them out here.
Whoo Loves you baby?
I used MFT’s new set, Owls of the Season. (I just love their little faces!) I paper-pieced the owls, added a bit of sparkle, dotted over the dots and eyes with a 3-d black gel pen and then raised the owls on pop dots. The branch was stamped three times, using a Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement on the lower layers of patterned paper. I also used last Thursday’s MFT sketch (MFTSC65).
I painted some Angel Wings Shimmerz on a piece of patterned paper, stamped the hearts, then cut them out and added them to the ends of the branches.
