Bottoms Up, Baby!

Published by Michele Boyer at 9:00 am under My Designs, Stamping Bella

Today’s challenge at Splitcoast Stampers is ways to use alcohol.  You can use alcohol inks (which I don’t have), rubbing alcohol techniques (which I don’t know), or the more obvious…which is what I used.

A Real Friend Knows…

      ARFK

I found this sentiment while browsing through Addicted to Rubber Stamps.  (Remember all those apples?)  It is actually a horizontally long sentiment but in order to fit it on the card with Winobella (Stamping Bella), I had to alter the line breaks with a Stamp-a-ma-jig.  The next time I’ll just re-type it and print from the computer because after all of the markering, positioning and huffing, I was just about ready for one of those glasses of wine.

I used a clear 3-d gel pen on the wine bottle, glasses and Wino’s beaded necklace.

I’m off to the doctor (ick).  I have a strange eye thing going on.  I’m hoping it’s nothing serious, maybe just allergies (although I’ve never had that problem this early in the year).  We shall see.  Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Stamps:  Stamping Bella “Winobella,” Art Gone Wild “When To”   Ink:  Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black   Cardstock:  Prism Vanilla Cream (base), Suede Brown Dark   Patterned PaperBasic Grey Bittersweet paper pad    Accessories:  Extra-large eyelets by We R Memory Keepers, ribbon by May Arts, Sakura clear 3-d gelly roll pen, brads by Making Memories, sewing machine.  Card size 5 ½” x 5 ½”.

Your card is so beautiful! There is a lot of interesting detail to it - the eyelets, ribbon and the stitching. Winobella is so cute - I have this same stamp - so now you have given me a great idea. The sentiment is a keeper too.
