Just For Fun :)

It’s time for another challenge with the JiFFy Girls…Carole, Lori, Alli, Julie and me!  I look forward to this challenge every month.  One of us chooses paper and once it is en route to everyone, another of us reveals her choice of the image we are to use.  SO much fun!  :)

This month Julie selected this adorable Sugar Nellie image, Day Dreamer, and for the paper Alli chose “Sliced Leek” (lol) from the Minestrone Collection by Jillabean Soup.

I popped up my window, the girl and the flower in the girl’s hair.  The birds were colored and cut from vanilla cardstock and adhered over the “wallpaper” with the tails bent slightly forward.  I created a big “sunflower” using a felt flower button (from Ellen Hutson, LLC) and olive cardstock.  I was a bit stumped as to how to incorporate a sentiment so I made a little “hi” sign and tucked it into the window.

After making the card and finishing the inside, I had a bit of the paper left so I decided to make a coordinating envelope as well.

    Oh my gosh! You’re the queen!!! I LOVE how you paired up the image & paper! The flower is SO cute!! And… I love the little sign peeking out of the window! :)

    Oh my goodness! This is just wonderful! I love how you popped up the window and the little girl, love the ribbon treatment, love the little sentiment sign sticking out of the window, and love that great big sunflower growing beside the window. Let’s see, did I leave anything out?? Well, I just LOVE it all!!

    OMGosh! How do I become a Jiffy girl?! LOL This card is so perfect I almost don’t have words for it! I love how you cut the window out, so you could see the DP through it. And I love the DP. I love the felt flower brad and the little “Hi” sign. Too perfect in too many ways. Love it!
