Seeing Double
Hi everyone! A couple weeks ago Julia asked me to fill in for her WT challenge this week so I thought it would be fun to use two identical ”somethings” on a card or project.
You’re my Favorite
I used MFT’s new Bubble Bunny. (Sentiment is from Flopsey’s Flowers.) As you may know, there is only one bunny in the tub on the stamp. I thought it would be cute to add a friend.
I first stamped the bunny (only) onto a scrap piece of white cardstock. I scanned the image then flipped it using my photo editing software. I printed the flipped bunny onto one of MFT’s Perfect Paper Panels (they really are perfect with Copics) then stamped the whole image onto the flipped bunny, aligning the image with a Stamp-a-ma-jig. I did have to omit a few bubbles but it worked out great.
I used Copics to color the tub, sky and bunnies, and used Paula’s tips on creating grass using Prismacolor pencils (here). She’s a Prisma-pencil-genius, you know. Wow. Always amazing.
The brown gingham paper was printed from MFT’s Simply Spring digi-paper collection.
If you’d like to play along, you can find the challenge here, and be sure to check out other samples from my buds Jody and Susan.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
