Weekly Spotlight 8/05-8/11

MFTSLHi everyone!

This week’s spotlight with My Favorite Things is on Diamond Glaze and Fun Flock.

I chose to only use a bit of flock here, using it to puff up the flower centers.

I’m Sorry

I kept my card pretty scrappy, sponging and distressing the edges.

I used Diamond Glaze in the flower centers, added some Caramel Latte Tan Fun Flock to each, then dabbed a dark gray Copic onto the Flock, giving it a darker look.  (I would have used dark brown if I had it.)

I used a thin strip of cardstock to weave in and out of the crocheted trim, then stitched around the distressed edges, changing to zig-zag when going over the trim ends.
