Oh look, it’s me! And a New Contest

Ok…it’s not really me…maybe a couple several years ago.   :)

This is a fun new set, A Balanced Holiday, by My Favorite Things.

Merry and Bright

 MFTM&B3

I used markers to color the image, paper-pieced the girl’s very tiny leggings and tree skirt and added some Dew Drops over the stamped ornaments.

MFTMBCUThe sentiment hangs from a little string I colored with a dark red marker and the matting was created by layering two ovals (same size) behind the white oval sentiment.

Now, about the contest…  If you are a fan of MFT, you won’t want to miss this one!  The contest runs over the next seven weeks and the winner will receive ALL upcoming new releases from December 2009 through May 2010.  That’s SIX MONTHs’ worth of releases!

There are six weeks of challenges and the first one has already been posted HERE.   You have until Monday, October 12th (Midnight EST) to post your project for consideration as this week’s finalist.   (One finalist will be selected each week, then all finalists will compete in the last round.)  Entries posted after this deadline will NOT be considered.  So you think you can stamp?  Let’s see!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great night/day!
