You’re Sweet as Pie

Hi everyone.  I hope your week has gotten off to a good start.  I’ve been busy getting ready for company (otherwise known as “extra cleaning”).

Sweet as Pie

    SAP

This is Sweetie Pie Flopsey, one of My Favorite Things latest releases.  My favorite part of this card is the little pie I made.  (It’s the ONLY kind of pie I make. lol.)

MFTSAPI punched a scalloped circle and then split the sentiment to fit.  From a piece of scrap paper, I punched a large oval, then used the negative space to trace the curved shape of the top of the pie.  After the pie shape was cut out, I sponged the edges using Antique Linen Distress ink.  I cut a piece of patterned paper in the shape of a pie tin and adhered the pie “crust” over the shape using pop dots.   I like it.  🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I’ll be back tomorrow with details for the next round of MFT’s So You Think You Can Stamp contest.  Have a great day!
