Paper Cuts

Hi everyone! 

It’s Week 2 of MFT’s So You Think You Can Stamp contest.   This week’s theme is Disco.  “It’s electric!  Retro and funky!  Let’s get it on.”  (Now we’ll all be hearing Marvin Gaye singing in our heads all day.)

You are my Sunshine

How about that? Would you rather have THAT song in your head?  (No?  Eek!  Lol.) 

For my (simple) sample, I used some retro/funky-ish We R Memory Keepers paper, some kind-of-funky flowers and rounded alternating corners.

If you’d like to play along, you can check out all the contest rules and details here.  Basically, each week for six weeks, you upload your entry for that particular week’s theme.  Four judges will select a winner (each week) and those winners will compete in the final round for the grand prize of six months of new My Favorite Things releases (December 2009 through May 2010).

All entries for this week’s theme must be uploaded to SCS by Monday, October 19.  Be sure to check out the details.  There are a few specifics you’ll need to know.  I can’t wait to see your Disco/Retro/Funky projects!
