It’s JiFFy Time!

Published by Michele Boyer at 9:00 am under Just for Fun Challenge, My Designs

Hi everyone!  It’s time for our October Just For Fun challenge with the JiFFy girls!  We’re a little late but that’s ok.  We’ll catch up!

This month Alli selected paper from My Mind’s Eye Colorful Christmas Collection.  Once it was in the mail to each of us and before anyone knew what she had chosen, Julie selected Papertrey Ink’s Autumn Abundance.   I love the paper (so cute!) and I love the image but what a challenge this time!  I wasn’t sure how in the world I was going to make Christmas/winter paper work with a bouquet of mums.   So I ended up using the back sides of the two wintry patterns.

Thanks Just Doesn’t Seem Like Enough

I wanted to try to make my pitcher of flowers look like it’s sitting on a table with a cloth.  I used a craft knife to carefully cut around the bottom of the pitcher, slid my orange paper beneath, added the lace trim and matted the image.

Be sure to check out the other JiFFy girls to see what they did with the same paper and image!

A*D*O*R*A*B*L*E Love your table cloth. That dainty lace is perfect and so pretty. Also love that thin strip of blue at the bottom. It set the sentiment perfectly. I love JFF day. :) Have a wonderful week. Hugs!

Love the ribbon trim…perfect touch to a perfect card. Also love how you made the eye go from the button to the sentiment–very clever.
