MFT Preview #3

It’s day three of previews with My Favorite Things and today is….PURE INNOCENCE!  I can’t tell you how excited I am over the images this month.  S-U-P-E-R cuteness!

Easter Blessings

       MFTEBPI

I used My Basket of Eggs to create a sweet little Easter card.  The set comes with several individual words which you can piece together any way you’d like.

MFTEBPI-CUIs that not the sweetest face?  I just love this line.

I colored her with Copics and added grass using Prismacolor pencils.

I decided the easiest way to add highlights to some areas (like the eggs and the basket) was to simply leave some areas uncolored.  I have a white gel pen but I can never seem to get the color exactly where I want it.  (I think I need a new one…or a different one…with a finer tip.)

.

MFTEBPI-InTo finish the inside, I drew inspiration from my friend Jody, stamping only a light silhouette of the girl onto the white leaving plenty of space for a personal note.

Be sure to check out Kim’s blog HERE after 11 a.m. EST for direct links to more samples by the design team.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
