This week on the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog my very sweet fellow design team member, Tara, has challenged us to use metal. Perfect for the new Steampunk images (available tomorrow)!
Yesterday my card had a travel theme. Today it’s goggles and gears!
Get it in Gear!
I had originally colored Lavinia’s top portion of her dress pink but then decided the pink was too bright and colored over it with a gray marker. Much better.
I cut her “tornado ponytail” (my daughter’s term) out of the box and gave her a tiny brad earring.
The gear is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology. As much as I like it, I’m not really sure how to use that type of thing, but I think it works here.
The Lavinia image comes with a small gear accessory stamp which I used here to finish the inside of the card.
Please check out the other Krafty Girls’ blogs (on my side bar) to see more previews and challenge samples. If you’d like to play along and have a chance to win a free stamp, you can find the info HERE.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
