A Papertake Sketch

Published by Michele Boyer at 7:00 am under Kraftin Kimmie, My Designs

This week Kraftin’ Kimmie is sponsoring the Papertake Weekly challenge.  (You can find it here.)  I decided to use one of Kimmie’s new fairy images for my card. Well, I used most of one of the fairy images.

Have a Magical Day

    KKMD

I omitted the branch, leaves and fairy’s wings, cut her out then sat her upon a chipboard flourish.  I used a green Copic to quickly (and easily) color the chipboard and tied a bit of organdy to the one end.

KKMDCUThis is a totally different style for me, but I think I like it.  And I got to use a few of those Primas I’ve had forever.  :)

Be sure to check out the challenge for your chance to win free stamps from Kraftin’ Kimmie!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Michele, This is just stunning! Thanks for bringing a smile to my face this afternoon…I really needed it!

I love how beautifully you’ve coloured her and she looks great minus the wings and branch and it just proves how versatile the image is. I love those pretty papers and all the great embellies…just perfection!
