I’m still plugging along on these birthday cards. I can’t believe I need so many this month. (It’s fun though.) 🙂
Happy Birthday
Here I’ve used My Balloon, one of the very sweet Pure Innocence girls from My Favorite Things. I colored the image with markers, the ground with pencils, and paper-pieced the balloon.
I had originally thought to place three buttons to the left of the image but decided I liked the flowers better. I simply cut them from the patterned paper, inserted a brad in each center and adhered them over the buttons with glue dots.
To create the sentiment, I used “happy” from MFT’s My Basket of Eggs set and “birthday” from My Balloon.
I do need to become a little more creative with my finished insides. I think they’re all looking the same. (I’ll try to work on that.)
Tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday and I need to make 36 cookies n’ cream cupcakes for her to take to school (or for me to take to the school) so I better get busy crushing those cookies. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
