An Eyelet Here, An Eyelet There

It’s time for another challenge with Kraftin’ Kimmie!  Today we’re using eyelets… one or more, it doesn’t matter.  If you’d like to play along, you can find all the details here.  Don’t forget to post a link there on the Challenge Blog because one lucky winner will receive a free Lola Da Vinci image as I’ve used here.

You Color My World

I had the bright idea to make a little paint palette using circle punches and eyelets.  Then it dawned on me that Lola is holding a big wall-type brush….which she would not use with a palette.  Silly me.  I decided I liked it enough to leave it alone though.

To get the little hump on the one end of the circles, I cut that rounded “hump” with scissors.  Looking at the underside of the punch, I inserted my paper, then lifted the “hump” part out of the circle so it wouldn’t punch.  Once the ‘almost whole’ circle was punched, I trimmed just a bit to smooth the edges between the circle and the “hump.”  (I hope that makes sense.)

And this is more of that gorgeous Basic Grey Kioshi paper.  🙂

You can see other samples by the design team HERE.  I hope you’ll play along!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!
