Hi everyone!  Welcome to My Favorite Things’ April release hop!  If you’ve just popped in here, you might want to go back to the beginning with Kim.  If you’ve just come from Frances, then you’re right on track.  And be sure to leave comments as you hop as there is some blog candy hidden somewhere along the way! 

This month brings 14 fun new sets!  I chose to use one of the four new Pure Innocence images, Make Mine a Double.

You Make Life Sweet

Isn’t she sweet?  I just love her.  I paper-pieced her dress, drew in little socks and colored the rest with markers.  The ground was colored/sketched in with Prismacolor pencils.

Hi everyone!  We’re on the last day of previews for the big April release by My Favorite Things (which is tonight at 10 p.m.)!

Today the team is sharing samples using Baby Bump (WTG), Clearly Sentimental about Babies, Baby Additions and Clearly Sentimental About Mothers.  I chose mothers.

A Mother Holds Your Hand for a While…

I used my favorite sentiment in the set (no question).  It literally tugs at my heartstrings. 

I also used my favorite Wild Asparagus paper and my favorite flowers by Prima.  (I just love those burlap flowers.)  I used a sponge and some Tattered Rose distress ink to add a bit of color to the inside of the flower.

And a simple finish to the inside.
