MFT May Previews, Day 1

Today the My Favorite Things design team is sharing samples using the first two new stamp releases, Rainfall Flopsey and Clearly Sentimental about Babies.  I chose babies.  This set has some truly lovely sentiments.  I used my favorite.  🙂

The Decision to Have a Child

Those words are so true.

I’ve had this Anna Griffin paper forEVER and finally decided to cut it.  It’s so sweet, so “vintage.”  I bought the two patterns in blue as well so I’m prepared either way.  🙂

I die-cut the sentiment after stamping onto cream cardstock.  With the die still around the cut-out, I lightly sponged chalk ink around the edges.

I used MFT’s new Jumbo Scallop Die-namics border die (available 5/5), placing a little foam booster beneath each scallop for a bit more definition.  I used this die on the inside of my card as well (placing boosters beneath the scallops there also).

The sentiment on the inside of my card was taken from MFT’s Essential Sentiments set.

Be sure to check out Kim’s blog HERE after 11 a.m. EST for direct links to more design team samples.  We’ll have previews each day leading up to the big release on Wednesday, May 5th, 10 p.m. EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!  🙂
