Feel Better Soon

Hello.  Please excuse my “blah” post today. I’ve been in a rather glum mood these last few days, not just because of Father’s Day but my grandmother (my dad’s mom) has just been moved to hospice after shattering her hip in a fall and there have been a couple of other rather stressful things going on on top of that.  Things will get better… **sigh**  Anyway…

For this card I used the image from Better Get Better and for the sentiment I pieced together words from the My Umbrella and Best Medicine sets (all from the Pure Innocence line from My Favorite Things).  The paper is by The Girls’ Paperie.  I love it and have been admiring it for a while.  I finally found ONE piece.

MFTFBSINThe crocheted trim is new from My Favorite Things (found here).  I missed out on it the first time around but it’s now back in stock.  Thank you again to my sweet friend, Jody, for sharing hers with me.

I’ll be back Friday with this month’s JiFFy challenge.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!
