A Sweet Hello

The card I’m sharing today is for a challenge hosted by Taylor VanBruggen and you can see the details here. 

I’ve used All Dressed Up from the Jolinne collection at My Favorite Things. (The set is currently out of stock but sure to be back soon!)  

I stamped the girl onto a white MFT Perfect Paper Panel, drew in the bit of lace on her socks, paper-pieced her dress and colored the remainder with markers. 

There’s a tiny crystal flower on her purse and she’s popped up on dimensional boosters.

To make the flower, I used MFT’s new Rolled Flower Die-namics die and pink felt (also found in the Die-namics category in the MFT store but also currently sold out.  I’m not surprised.  The felt is awesome). 

Instead of beginning my roll from the outside edge (which I guess is what you’re SUPPOSED to do), I started with the inside.  The leaves were cut free-hand from olive felt.

On the inside I stamped a partial silhouette of the girl and a sentiment from MFT’s Essential Sentiments.
