MFT Teasers, Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the August release teasers with My Favorite Things!  Through Wednesday the team will be previewing the new sets and products (leading up to the release Wednesday night at 10 p.m. EST), but we’re adding in some extra fun this month — TEASER PRIZES!

Today the team is previewing two new sets, Clearly Sentimental about Gardens and How Does Your Garden Grow.  My sample uses the second (and two fab new Die-namics die-cuts)!

You’re Quite Contrary

I stamped ‘Mary’ onto a cream MFT Perfect Paper Panel, paper-pieced her dress, placing a pop dot beneath the bottom edge of her dress.  The remainder was colored with markers.  I then cut her out and tucked her among her garden of pink blooms. 

I cut out the blooms and leaves using one of the new Die-namics releases, Flower and Leaf Trio.

Along the bottom of my card, I used another of the new Die-namics dies, Small Scallop Border.  I cut three strips of the small scallops and alternately layered them.

On the inside, I used a second sentiment from the set, a leftover scrap of the floral print and two more die-cut flowers.
