Helloooo!    Welcome to this month’s release hop with My Favorite Things!  If you’ve  just come from Joanne, you’re right where you’re supposed to be.   But if you’ve  just popped in here, you’ve missed more than half so you may want to go back to the beginning with Kim.

This month we have 13 new sets, five FAB new Die-namics, new cardstock colors, a Winter Wonderland Felt Collection and Winter in the City Ribbons!   Whew!  That’s a lot.  But it’s all good!

Tonight I have a sample using my favorite of all the new releases, Sending You a Little Christmas.  I also used this month’s Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch.  (You can find that here.)

Every Time We Love

I just love this image.  And I’m really happy with how this turned out.  I used the scariest color (red–more on that in another post) and added shading onto my image with Prismacolor pencils.  Usually I only pull those out for the ground.   But I’ve been encouraged by a true “artist” whose work is absolutely heavenly.  (That was a clue!)  I love everything she does.  Everything.

After I colored my image, I added tiny brads to the sled and coat and a bit of clear 3-d glaze to the ornaments and star.   **sigh**  I just love her.   And I’m so proud of myself for using red.  And more pencils.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment along with a partial silhouette of the image.

Snowflakes Are Like Friends

I’ve paired Snowflake Flopsey with the new Polka Dot Greetings Frame and Die-namics die-cut.  The sentiment is from the Flopsey set while the dots and die-cut are from the Polka Dot set.  (Both available tonight.)

On the inside, I’ve used a second sentiment from the Flopsey set.
