MFTeasers, Day 3

Hello.  🙂   We’re up to Day 3 of previews of the November releases with My Favorite Things!   Teaser prizes continue so be sure to leave comments as you visit each blog.  Every day leading up to the release on November 3rd, you could win one of two new sets!  You can find the complete list of participating DT members HERE after 11 a.m. EST. 

Today the team is sharing samples of the three new Pure Innocence sets, Making a List, Naptime and Bedtime Story.

I’ve Made a List

Here I’ve used Making a List.    On the actual stamp, there is a small envelope on the ground near the girl’s feet.  I omitted that portion. 

After coloring the head and legs with markers, I stamped the image again onto patterned paper.  I cut out the dress without cutting around the arm and list.  (I cut as if the arm and list were not overlapping the dress.)  I then layered a second impression of the girl’s arm, list, paper and pencil (cut out as one piece) over the dress. So the layers wouldn’t look weird, I cut a small slit along the bottom of the dress sleeve and inserted the arm piece just inside the slit.  (Clear as mud?)

On the inside, I stamped the girl (again, omitting the envelope) and completed the sentiment.
