Hello!    Welcome to this month’s release hop with My Favorite Things!  If you’ve  just come from Lisa, you’re right where you’re supposed to be.   But if you’ve  just popped in here, you might want to go back to the beginning with Kim.

As you’ve seen over the last several days, we have twelve new stamp sets as well as five new Die-namics!  Lots of fun!  All new items are available right now, right here, but I hope you’ll finish the hop first!  🙂

Have a Jolly Holiday

Tonight I’ve used Emma Celebrates the Season.  She was stamped onto one of MFT’s cream Perfect Paper Panels, colored, cut out and adhered over a Basic Grey Jovial Element sticker.  (I don’t usually buy the sticker sheets but I did this time so I’m determined to use them.)

I inserted three tiny brads in place of her buttons and adhered white Fun Flock to her hat, muff and boot cuffs.  Fun Flock and I are not good friends.  There has to be some kind of secret to using that stuff.  Mine was lumpy even though I tried and tried to “un-lump” it.  And it was EVERYwhere.  I kept having to brush it away from other areas…paper, my clothes…I was sneezing.  lol.  I like it.  But it doesn’t like me.

I placed a second sentiment on the inside and added a couple more of the Basic Grey stickers.

Along the bottom, on the front and inside, I used MFT’s new Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics.  (You want it.  And the Faux Crochet border.  Might as well throw in the doily and mini-banner too.  You’ll LOVE them!  I do!)

Best Teacher Ever

I’ve used this month’s WTG, Teacher’s Pet.  The image is colored with markers and shaded a bit with Primacolor pencils.  No paper-piecing this time (shock).  And no Star Trek sweater.   (I really enjoyed those comments!)

I placed the sentiment on the inside and added the little apple in the corner (because there just weren’t enough on the surrounding paper. lol.)

Along the bottom edge on the front and inside, I used MFT’s new Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics border.  Black on black is always hard to see, but it’s there.
