Love You With All My Heart

Hello.  I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  I’m still feeling pretty rough, but I decided I needed to get out of the house today.  So I tagged along (and waited in the car) while my husband ran errands.  The holiday traffic….sheesh.  It was NUTS-O!  I just don’t have the patience for it.  I think I would have wanted to wait in the car anyway even if I felt better.

I have a little card/box duo to share using one of the recently released Pure Innocence sets by My Favorite Things.

Love You With All My Heart

Here I’ve used Love You With All My Heart.    And even though I haven’t seen Jody use this Bo Bunny Crazy Love paper, I blame her for my buying it because I saw it when I was hunting down the MME Fine and Dandy Paper she was using. 

Along the bottom, I used MFT’s new Dainty Dots Die-namics border die. 

I paper-pieced most of the girl, stamping the hands, heart and sleeve a second time so I could layer the pieces.  (If you just cut out the shapes and adhere them all to the original stamped image, the cut lines don’t always (almost never) line up.  But if you layer the pieces, it all goes together quite well.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment and part of the image using Memento Jumbo Java ink.

The box was created using Jen’s Cookie Box Template.  It’s the perfect size for Ghiradelli Chocolate Squares (which, unlike the Cordial Cherry M&M’s, are LONG gone).  Tucked behind the button/ribbon, I placed one of the hearts from MFT’s new Hearts a Plenty Die-namics die.

I think I’ve used about all the energy I had to type this post so I’m off to plop on the couch with a pillow and warm blanket.  Maybe I’ll turn on the fire place too.
