Merry Christmas to YOU!

I love Christmas Eve.  There’s always a bit of a rush during the day, wrapping the last of the gifts, picking up the last of the groceries.   But as evening approaches, it feels a bit “magical” with all the lights, music, anticipation.  So peaceful.  I take in every moment because I know tomorrow morning will come earlier than usual with the kids stalking the balcony, looking below into the family room, trying to guess their gifts.  They are not allowed to go downstairs without us, and they are not to awaken us before 7 a.m.  Otherwise, for every minute before 7 a.m. that we are awake, they will lose a gift……..just kidding.  (But it’s worth a try, huh? *snort*)

Merry Christmas

I made a few of these to send this year…Not TOO (terribly) involved and nice and flat (requiring no extra postage).    I used  Merry Christmas Branch with Birdies from Stamping Bella

Along the bottom of my card I used My Favorite Things’ Faux Crochet border Die-namics die.  I love the look of the ivory on ivory.

My coloring was pretty much taken from a sample on the Stamping Bella website.  I saw no watermark so I’m unable to give credit where credit is due, but I liked how it was colored and decided to do the same.  (But the more I colored, the sloppier I got.  We’ll call it a “watercolor” look.  Yes, that’s it.)  The paper is Echo Park’s Everybody Loves Christmas.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, and thank you so much for visiting.  I appreciate each and every peek and/or comment!  I’ll be back soon!   Hugs!!
