MFTeasers, Day 1

**Please press Ctl-F5 to “hard” refresh if you’d like to make sure you are seeing my latest post.  I’ve been having lots of blog issues…again.  Thanks!

Welcome to Day 1 of January teasers with My Favorite Things!   You can find direct links to more samples by checking Kim’s blog HERE.

Teaser PRIZES begin today so be sure to leave comments as you look around. Each day of teasers, two winners will be randomly selected, one each from two participating blogs.  Each winner will receive one of the new featured stamp sets!  Two winners… each day…  just for commenting.  :)

Today we’re previewing Clearly Sentimental about Time and More Essential Sentiments.

Hey Girlie!

I’ve used a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments along with MFT’s new Quarter-inch Rosette Die-namics die.   I’ve never created a rosette so there was a bit of a learning process.  First of all, I didn’t realize you had to cut TWO strips.  (What do I know? lol.)  When I cut the first (thinking that was all I needed), I had used my last block of that pattern.  Great.  So after die-cutting the strip, I cut it in half, lengthwise.  THEN I had two pieces.  …Maybe you’re SUPPOSED to cut it in half?  I don’t know, but that is what I did.  :)

And since I was cutting things in half, I decided to add the little scallopy edges along the diagonal.  I die-cut one strip using the Dainty Dots Border die, sliced it right in half and glued each piece to the sides of the rosette panel.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set.

And did you know… TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to enter your comment HERE on MFT’s Facebook page for your chance to win the ENTIRE January 2011 release, FREE!  All you have to do is tell us your favorite stamp set or Die-namic die from our 2010 products!  One random winner will be selected on January 2nd.   If the winner lists a referring friend, that friend will win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique!  And because we don’t want that gift voucher to go to waste, if no referring friend is listed, then we’ll draw a second winner at random to win that $50 voucher!  You have until 11:59 p.m. EST today to enter your comment.   Good luck!  :)
