Today we’re previewing Clearly Sentimental about Time and More Essential Sentiments.

Hey Girlie!

I’ve used a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments along with MFT’s new Quarter-inch Rosette Die-namics die.   I’ve never created a rosette so there was a bit of a learning process.  First of all, I didn’t realize you had to cut TWO strips.  (What do I know? lol.)  When I cut the first (thinking that was all I needed), I had used my last block of that pattern.  Great.  So after die-cutting the strip, I cut it in half, lengthwise.  THEN I had two pieces.  …Maybe you’re SUPPOSED to cut it in half?  I don’t know, but that is what I did.  🙂

And since I was cutting things in half, I decided to add the little scallopy edges along the diagonal.  I die-cut one strip using the Dainty Dots Border die, sliced it right in half and glued each piece to the sides of the rosette panel.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set.
