MFT January Release Blog Hop & Shop

Welcome to the My Favorite Things’ January Blog Hop & Shop!  If you’ve just popped in here, you may want to go back to the beginning with Kim.  If you’ve just come from Susan, then you’re right on track.  🙂

This month we have twelve new stamp sets and six new Die-namics dies.  And they’re all available right now!  But first, I hope you’ll continue on with the hop.  You never know…you might find one more thing you MUST add to that order!  🙂

Peek-a-Boo

I’ve used one of the adorable new Pure Innocence sets, Peek-a-Boo.   

Her dress is pieced with two tiny brads added for buttons. 

The red die-cut “trims” were created using MFT’s new Dainty Lace Border Die-namics.

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from the set, and the girl in the corner from Flower Girl.   It’s a bit of a “pattern-palooza” but I didn’t want to leave the sides blank…or just the top.  It looked funny to me.

To create a gatefold card, simply cut your cardstock to 10″ x 5 1/4″.  Score and fold 2 1/2″ in from each side and you will have a 5″ x 5 1/4″ folded card.  I used the “Peek-a-Boo” sentiment piece to help hold the card closed.
