Hi everyone! Time for another challenge with Kraftin Kimmie! This week Melanie has asked us to create a card using at least one recycled item. I didn’t put myself out too terribly much on this one. (I was kind of lame.) I simply used a paperclip I found in the desk drawer and a scrap of ribbon from my daughter’s little ribbon “stash.”
Wishing You a Berry Nice Day
I just love Kimmie’s new berry girls and so for this challenge I chose to use Stella Strawberry. So cute!
After clipping the paperclip to my sentiment, I adhered it over the trim and image using a pop dot, then threaded a button onto a layered flower, bringing the string around from one flower to the next. To create small “leaves” I cut a scrap of green gingham, trimming the ends to points, tucking each one beneath a flower and adhering with glue.
You can see more samples for Melanie’s challenge HERE on the Krafty Blog. As always, if you’d like to play along, leave a link there on the Krafty Blog for your chance to win a free Stella Strawberry!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
